History

VOCE was formed in Chicago, IL in 2008. It won the quartet competition of the Illinois District of the Barbershop Harmony Society that same year. Stephen joined the ensemble in early 2009. The group placed 11th at the international competition of the Barbershop Harmony Society. In 2010, VOCE placed 9th, becoming a finalist in international competition. Stephen had to leave the group in 2011 to do a production of THE MUSIC MAN at GeVa Theater Center in Rochester, NY.
